Loud Sounds 87
We are coming back with "Loud Sounds" to show you some of the best new tracks we've found.
Backwater Township – Gesalul (Live)

Backwater Township is a five-piece jazz ensemble operating out of Montreal. The name of their new jam translates as "Love" from Mi'gmaq, and the band are both heartfelt and serious about the piece, calling it "an expression of love in its truest form". One could imagine something romantic or starry-eyed after reading this description. But the piece is deeper than that. It can indeed be romantic, but it also expresses passion, longing and, most notably, patience, which is an essensial and often overlooked ingredient of love.

Blake Wisner & Hubstcy – Moodlighting

Listening to new tracks submitted to us by Blake Wisner, we revisited this old jam, and it still shines. The collaboration with Hubstcy is perfect music for driving through your favourite city at night. The synths are subdued and the groove is infectious. But our fav thing about the song is the smooth vocal delivery.
