Mouissie's Synth Pop Sounds Authentic and Fresh at the Same Time
Listen to his debut single "Skytrain". It will make you want to dance.

It's an instrumental disco/italo song and it's made to be played loud after a long workday or on the weekend.

Mouissie is my new project and it's inspired by acts like New Order, Depeche Mode, Alphaville. The bands I grew up listening to and still my favorite acts. I used the gear similar to what those acts used: vintage FM synthesizers, samplers etc. (DX7, Korg M1, E-mu Emulator). There's something about these sounds that I really love and what's really close to me.

I always made music, but this is the first time that I made something completely by myself (artwork, recording, mixing and mastering). It gives me the freedom that I like, and I'm always searching for new and exciting stuff, so Mouissie will be the outlet for that.

My first EP will be hopefully a mixture of this sound (italo/new wave) and maybe some more influences from House. I have the framework in my head and I'm excited to finish it. I was always inspired by people like Kate Bush and Peter Gabriel who always had a clear image in their head of what they wanted their music to sound like. I'm working independently and I would like to stay working like that.
